Colman Deegan takes helm as Zayo Europe's new CEO

Zayo Group, a global provider of network infrastructure, has announced the appointment of Colman Deegan as the new CEO of Zayo Europe. Deegan comes with 25 years of esteemed experience in the telecom industry, having spent a large part of his career at Vodafone. His tenure at Zayo Europe begins, effectively, on April 16, 2024. The main focus of his role will be to drive business growth in an increasingly digital continent where cloud and AI adoption continues to surge.

Bringing a wealth of experience to his new position, Deegan has held several senior leadership roles at Vodafone, including that of Group M&A Director, CFO at Vodafone India and Italy, and CEO of Vodafone Turkey. In his most recent role as Vodafone Spain's CEO, he successfully steered an operational turnaround in a highly competitive market.
