Zellis publishes its inaugural impact report on ESG goals

Yesterday

Zellis Group has released its first Impact Report, highlighting its commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibilities and future sustainability goals.

The report marks an expansion of the company's ESG framework, initially launched in 2022, which concentrates on three key pillars with a five-year target set for 2027. The strategic goals of these pillars include supporting over five million people in financial and emotional wellbeing, achieving gender and diversity targets in leadership, and attaining operational net zero carbon levels.

Zellis Group comprises Zellis, Moorepay, and Benefex, collectively employing more than 2,400 individuals in the UK, Ireland, India, and the Philippines. As a partner to over 5,000 customers, Zellis Group is focusing on positively influencing people's working and personal lives.

John Petter, Chief Executive Officer of Zellis, stated, "Since setting out our ESG framework and ambitions in 2022, some of my proudest and most fulfilling achievements in business have been overseeing the progress made against our plans, and the impact they have had on our colleagues, customers, and local communities." He continued, "We have made significant headway against our five-year ambitions over the past two years, and remain committed to accelerating our ESG initiatives and embedding sustainability at the core of our business. All this, while working with our shareholders, colleagues, and customers, to listen and learn from their experiences and build meaningful, long-term impact."

The company's dedication to ESG and sustainability is further validated by its receipt of several awards and certifications. These include being an accredited Real Living Wage employer and attaining EcoVadis Silver Medal Status for sustainability. Zellis Group is also a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact, The Pregnancy Loss Pledge, and the Employers' Initiative on Domestic Abuse, among others. The company similarly ranks as a Top 10 Employer for Women in Tech and recently became a registered Disability Confident Committed employer.

In addition to these accolades, Zellis achieved an A- score from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) in 2022, recognising its advancement in best practices concerning environmental management and carbon emissions.

Zellis Group is the UK and Irish provider of pay, reward, analytics, and people experiences. This inaugural, group-wide Impact Report affirms its approach to ESG and sustainability, the results of its programmes, and its goals for the future.
