Kao Data adopts PepTalk to boost Harlow data centre morale

Kao Data has announced a partnership with JCA Engineering and PepTalk to implement a workforce engagement approach during the construction of its new KLON-03 data centre in Harlow, UK.

The collaboration will see the integration of PepTalk's workforce intelligence platform into the daily operations at the KLON-03 site. This system collects live, anonymous feedback from workers, giving management ongoing insight into team morale, communication, and engagement.

The new KLON-03 data centre is designed to support multi-megawatt direct-to-chip, liquid-cooled infrastructure as well as traditional air-cooled servers, addressing the growing demand for advanced AI and computing workloads.

Kao Data aims to set a benchmark in the industry by prioritising advanced engineering and focusing on worker wellbeing, safety, and performance during the construction phase. By embedding PepTalk's technology into site management practices, the company intends to improve decision-making, identify potential risks early, and strengthen site culture.

PepTalk's platform is designed to move beyond traditional sentiment checks, providing site managers with tools to spot blind spots, identify opportunities for operational improvements, and build a culture of accountability within onsite teams.
