Ververica to showcase real-time AI at Gartner DA Summit 2025
Ververica has announced its participation at the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit 2025 in London, where it will showcase its real-time AI decision intelligence capabilities.
The company, recognised for its work creating Apache Flink and its involvement in real-time data streaming solutions, will demonstrate how real-time AI-powered data pipelines can provide enterprises with a competitive advantage.
Ververica will have a presence at booth #123, where attendees are invited to engage with its Unified Streaming Data Platform, which is built on the company's cloud-native VERA engine. Visitors can explore the ways the platform supports data intelligence initiatives and enables data-driven decision-making in real time, with applications ranging from AI and machine learning to fraud detection and customer insight projects.
The demonstration will include a showcase of KartShoppe's fraud-detection and personalisation pipeline. Developed using Ververica's technology, the pipeline was built in a matter of hours, rather than weeks. The presentation will illustrate how agentic AI, in conjunction with Ververica's platform, results in seamless convergence of data and decision processes.
"Real‐time intelligence is no longer optional for enterprises that want to compete. Our customers are moving beyond batch ETL and static data lakes to agentic AI workflows where latency is measured in milliseconds," Ben Gamble, Field CTO at Ververica, stated.
"The rise of generative and agentic AI means decisions must be streamed, not staged. At Gartner DA, we'll show how VERA lets teams deploy production‐grade AI pipelines fast—without rewriting their stack," Vladimir Jandreski, Chief Product Officer at Ververica, added.
As part of the summit, Ben Gamble will deliver a presentation titled "Empowering AI to Make Decisions You Can Trust." Scheduled in May, the 20-minute session will discuss the significance of trust as AI takes on a larger role in business decision-making processes. The presentation will use KartShoppe's deployment as a case study, highlighting how scalable, real-time AI agents can support fraud detection, enhance customer personalisation, and improve operational efficiency.
Ververica's platform features a number of capabilities, such as support for over 35,000 jobs on a single cluster and the ability to ingest up to 10 petabytes of data daily. It is designed to elastically scale across two million CPU cores and to process up to 6.9 billion records per second, with a daily ingestion capacity of up to 10 trillion records. These features are positioned to address the data processing needs of businesses operating at a large scale, whether on public cloud, private cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
The company emphasises that its Streaming Data Platform, powered by the VERA engine, is intended to streamline operations, improve developer efficiency, and enable customers to address real-time data use cases reliably and securely. The platform aims to help organisations meet business service-level agreements by providing tools to connect, process, govern, and analyse data across a wide range of use cases.
Ververica's participation in the summit will focus on demonstrating how advancements in AI and real-time data processing can be implemented without requiring extensive redevelopment of existing technology stacks. The company's representatives will be available at booth #123 to discuss these topics with summit attendees.
