New Relic expands Hyderabad centre, partners with T-Hub

Today

New Relic has announced the expansion of its Hyderabad Innovation Centre and a new corporate partnership with T-Hub, India's startup incubator.

The new facility in Hyderabad, which now accommodates more than 500 seats, aims to accelerate product innovation for product, design, engineering, and operations teams, supporting the needs of New Relic's expanding customer base.

The partnership with T-Hub, which marks New Relic as the first global observability platform to engage in such collaboration with the incubator, underscores the company's ongoing commitment to the local technology ecosystem.

In 2024, New Relic has expanded significantly in India. In May, the company opened a 200+ seat Innovation Centre in Hyderabad, which was then followed by a 300+ seat office in Bengaluru in November.

This further expansion of the Hyderabad Innovation Centre represents a 2.5 times increase in capacity within six months, with overall headcount in India more than quadrupling since the beginning of the year.

New Relic is also actively investing in the Indian tech ecosystem through its partnership with T-Hub. This collaboration is intended to support the local startup community by offering dedicated events, community mentorship, and discounted access to the New Relic Intelligent Observability Platform via the New Relic for Startups programme. This initiative provides startups with access to over 30 capabilities that comprise the observability platform.

New Relic CEO Ashan Willy commented, "The expanded Hyderabad Innovation Centre is a world-class facility that marks a significant milestone in our growth strategy for India. The Centre places India on equal footing with our US and European Innovation Centres; enabling us to tap into fantastic local talent and create great products that meet the needs of our growing customers in India and around the world."

T-Hub CEO Sujit Jagirdar remarked, "Our mission at T-Hub is to empower startups with the resources, mentorship, and partnerships they need to create transformative innovations."

"This strategic collaboration with New Relic is a testament to our commitment to building a thriving tech ecosystem. As our first global observability partner, New Relic's expertise and cutting-edge platform will enable startups in our ecosystem to develop robust, scalable, and impactful solutions, driving technological advancement and global competitiveness."
