Global intelligent internet firm Expereo has announced its strategic appointments of Ben Elms as Chief Executive Officer and Irwin Fouwels as Executive Chairman. The changes will be effective May 1st, 2024, and are part of the company's dedication to fostering sustained growth and innovation.
Ben Elms, the incoming CEO, will be entrusted with driving the company's strategic vision, improving operational efficiency, and promoting innovation to address the developing needs of Expereo's international clientele. Elms, who before his impending role with Expereo was the CEO of Vodafone Global Enterprise Business, brings over 25 years of relevant experience to the table. He has held significant executive roles at esteemed companies and has served multinational customers globally.
Since joining Expereo in 2022 as Chief Revenue Officer, Elms has successfully launched transformative initiatives like Expereo's digital customer experience platform and expereoOne and steered its direct enterprise go-to-market strategy. In the initial quarter of this year, Expereo introduced its Enhanced Internet proposition, leveraging AI to optimise global cloud application performance and proprietary AI-driven routing optimisation platform. It was during this period under Elms’ leadership that Expereo also added enterprise-grade Fixed Wireless Access and Low Orbit Satellite solutions to its wide suite of managed global connectivity solutions.

He spearheaded the firm through multiple investor rounds and carried out a series of acquisitions while maintaining strong financial performance and investor returns.
