DAS Fire appoints new leaders to drive UK & Ireland growth

Wed, 3rd Dec 2025

DAS Fire has announced several leadership changes aimed at supporting its ongoing growth and expansion within the UK and Irish data centre sector. The company, based in Reading, has appointed David Parry as Managing Director, while Stuart Parker will assume a consulting role. Paul Darke has taken on the role of Executive Director.

Leadership changes

David Parry has joined DAS Fire as Managing Director. Parry is expected to guide the company's expansion and maintain the technical standards and customer service practices for which the business is known. Stuart Parker, who has been central to DAS Fire's development, will step back from daily operations but remain involved as a consultant to the business. Paul Darke will continue his focus on customer engagement and commercial partnerships in his new capacity as Executive Director.

Organisational background

DAS Fire provides fire detection and suppression systems, predominantly serving the data centre sector across the UK and Ireland. The company's client base spans a variety of organisations focusing on the requirements of mission-critical infrastructure. Services include design, installation, ongoing maintenance, and customer support for specialist safety systems in large-scale facilities.

DAS Fire was acquired by Alpine Fire in 2024. Alpine Fire is based in Bury and is itself backed by private equity firm WestBridge, which invested in 2022. The acquisition marked Alpine Fire's first deal following the investment. Alpine Fire is now responsible for overseeing DAS Fire's integration and further growth.

Continuity and outlook

With these leadership changes, the company remains focused on continuity and the advancement of its existing client relationships. Stuart Parker's ongoing involvement is intended to support this process through advisory contributions based on his experience with DAS Fire and knowledge of the fire safety industry.

Paul Darke's remit as Executive Director will include driving new commercial opportunities and managing key partnerships. These responsibilities align with the company's stated commitment to high standards of technical delivery and customer satisfaction in a sector where reliability is considered a priority.

Client commitment

DAS Fire continues to emphasise its client-centric approach, aiming to provide advanced, reliable solutions with an emphasis on quality and safety. The company is also seeking to develop new business within continental Europe as part of its long-term growth plan.

"These changes represent an important step forward for DAS Fire. We are deeply grateful to Stuart for his leadership and lasting contributions. With David's experience and Paul's continued dedication, we are well-positioned to build on our strong foundation and deliver the innovation, reliability, and service that our clients have come to expect," said Claire Owens, Chief Executive Officer, Alpine Group.
