Baseel announced as National Ambassador by NCRCG
The National Cyber Resilience Centre Group (NCRCG) has proudly declared Baseel as a National Ambassador, further bolstering existing support for the Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) network. As part of its newfound ambassadorial role, Baseel will collaborate with national-level government and police forces to intertwine cyber resilience throughout the UK's commercial infrastructure. The global reach of the organisation will also be utilised to propagate the merits of the CRC network model on an international scale.
The technology firm is already an enthusiastic backer of the CRC network, having worked in tandem with four of the nine regional centres, the Eastern, London, North East and South East, as a Cyber Essentials Partner. The company now joins a burgeoning list of NCRCG National Ambassadors, which includes such prominent names as Aviva, CGI, Chainalysis, KPMG, Mastercard, Microsoft, NatWest Group, Resilience, the SANS Institute, SAS and The Very Group.
In addition to the new ambassadorial role, Baseel is also known for its extensive corporate social responsibility initiatives and its consistent support for various charitable organisations. This includes the Maulee Foundation, a charity committed to advocating for sustainable development and enhancing the lives of disadvantaged communities globally. The company likewise backs the Global CISO Society, a non-profit organisation offering a collaboration platform for cyber professionals to address mutual challenges.
Paresh Deshmukh, Group CEO of Baseel, expressed the company's enthusiasm for the partnership: "Baseel is honoured to join NCRCG as a National Ambassador. With our ties in the Middle East, India, and Africa, we can serve as a catalyst to instigate multiple joint projects yielding significant socio-economic impacts. We eagerly anticipate playing a crucial part in fortifying global businesses, with a spotlight on SMEs and the public sector."
Detective Superintendent Ian Kirby, CEO at NCRCG, reciprocated the sentiment: "We extend a warm welcome to Baseel as a National Ambassador, an entity that has experienced firsthand the impressive strength and impact of the network on a regional basis and has chosen to further their commitment."
"Known to many UK small and medium-sized businesses as a trusted Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus provider, Baseel brings invaluable insights and experiences from businesses across more than 60 countries and their cyber needs. We look forward to our collaboration."
In embracing the National Ambassador role, Baseel will undoubtedly be a significant player in the national fight against cyber crime, bolstering the security and resilience of businesses on a national and global scale. The symbiosis also marks a pivotal moment in Baseel's journey, amplifying the company's existing commitment and contribution to deterring cyber crime worldwide.
