atNorth earns 4 industry accolades in a week for sustainable data centres

The Nordic colocation, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence service provider, atNorth, is celebrating extensive industry recognition, after being acknowledged by four awarding bodies in a single week. This marks a significant achievement for the business, which prides itself on providing sustainable data centre services.

The Reykjavik-based business has been included in the TechRounds Sustainability60 campaign, which celebrates the most exciting sustainability companies in the UK and across Europe. Furthermore, atNorth has been shortlisted in a range of categories for the UK Green Business Awards, the Tech Capital Awards, and the DCS Awards.

Recognition for atNorth included being shortlisted in both the Low Carbon Industrial Project of the Year and the Green Heat Project of the Year categories at the UK Green Business Awards. The Tech Capital Awards also recognised atNorth in the Digital Infrastructure Project of the Year category. Additionally, the company gained prestige at the DCS Awards, being shortlisted in the Data Centre Cooling Innovation of the Year, Data Centre Sustainability Project of the Year, and Best Colocation Provider Sustainability Project of the Year categories.

The accolade of the TechRounds Sustainability60 campaign and the nominations for the various awards come as awareness of the environmental impact of the data centre industry begins to grow. atNorth is committed to promoting its low carbon, sustainable alternatives in this space. The company was additionally appreciated at the Electrical Review & Data Centre Review Awards.

The news follows recent announcements from atNorth of expanding their partnership with client, Advania, and the development of new sites in Finland and Denmark as the business grows to meet the increasing demand for its services.
