Safe Software passes USD $100M revenue as growth accelerates

Sat, 15th Nov 2025

Safe Software has reported surpassing USD $100 million in annual revenue for the latest fiscal year, marking almost 20% year-over-year growth as it accelerates towards a target of USD $250 million by 2028. The company, which offers enterprise data integration products through its FME platform, attributed its progress to geographic expansion, staff growth and new product updates.

Revenue milestone

Crossing the USD $100 million revenue mark positions Safe Software among a subset of private technology companies that have reached so-called "Centaur" status. The company's year-on-year growth rate of nearly 20% came amid a broader technology sector climate characterised by layoffs and slower hiring. Safe Software stated that it has increased its employee base by 21.8% over the fiscal year, indicating a focus on growth through staff investment.

"Crossing $100M is more than a financial milestone, it's testament to the significant value FME delivers for our customers every day. As we advance toward $250M, we remain committed to empowering organisations to unlock the full potential of their data through open, scalable, and intelligent solutions," said Don Murray, CEO, Safe Software.

Global expansion

Safe Software expanded its operational footprint with new offices in the UK and Ireland. These additions are intended to support the company's next phase of growth and underline its ambitions to increase international sales. The FME platform, which supports a wide range of data types and integration use cases, has now been localised into multiple languages and is used across more than 120 countries, based on company data.

AI and technology strategy

The firm noted substantial internal uptake of artificial intelligence tools. More than 600 custom GPTs are active within the company, and employees sent over 40,000 messages per month to its enterprise GPT system. The organisation's AI Champions Programme resulted in 20 internal demonstration projects in the latest quarter, covering topics from process improvement to new software tooling.

Product updates

Recent upgrades to the FME platform were highlighted as a factor in the ongoing growth. Updates include the introduction of FME Realise, as well as data virtualisation capabilities for connecting disparate systems. Other key product developments over the past year included the launch of multi-language availability for the FME platform and the extension of 24/7 global support for users.

Market recognition

The company's focus on customer service was reflected in its recognition as a Customers' Choice in the 2025 Gartner Peer Insights 'Voice of the Customer' report for the third consecutive year. This peer-based assessment measures satisfaction among users of enterprise IT software and services and is intended to provide guidance for potential buyers in the sector.

Partnership growth

Safe Software also referenced a new partnership with the Vancouver Canucks, adding to its roster of enterprise collaborations. Further detail about the partnership was not disclosed.

"As we advance toward $250M, we remain committed to empowering organisations to unlock the full potential of their data through open, scalable, and intelligent solutions&rdquo, said Murray;
