Hetzner unveils new cloud server plans from EUR €3.79 per month

Hetzner has launched four new shared vCPU cloud server plans featuring Intel processors. These plans start at EUR €3.79 per month. The announcement comes from the German hosting and cloud provider based in Gunzenhausen, Germany.

The smallest plan, known as the CX22, includes 2 vCPUs, 4 GB of RAM, and 40 GB of disk space. It is priced at EUR €3.79 per month or EUR €0.0060 per hour. The next tier, the CX32, offers 4 vCPUs, 8 GB of RAM, and 80 GB of disk space, costing EUR €6.80 per month (EUR €0.0113 per hour). The CX42 plan provides 8 vCPUs, 16 GB of RAM, and 160 GB of disk space for EUR €16.40 a month (EUR €0.0273 per hour). At the top end, the CX52 plan features 16 vCPUs, 32 GB of RAM, and 320 GB of disk space, priced at EUR €32.40 per month (EUR €0.0540 per hour). All these plans come with 20 TB of traffic and one IPv4 address.

These shared cloud plans are designed for applications that require distributed CPU resources, making them suitable for development and testing environments, blogs, forums, content management systems (CMS), small databases, and virtual private network (VPN) servers. As users' requirements evolve, they can scale their servers up or down and even automate the scaling process using Hetzner's API. The plans do not require a minimum contract period, and flexible billing allows hourly or monthly payment options.

The new plans are available through Hetzner's user-friendly and intuitive cloud platform. They are housed in data centres located in Germany and Finland, ensuring compliance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Hetzner operates over 30 data centres, including locations in Nuremberg and Falkenstein/Vogtland in Germany, and a data centre in Helsinki, Finland. Additionally, the company has facilities in Ashburn, Virginia, and Hillsboro, Oregon, USA. Hetzner has a 25-year history in the web hosting industry, offering a wide array of products and services, and has been expanding its cloud offerings over recent years.

The new cloud server plans further diversify Hetzner's product portfolio, which already includes dedicated servers, web hosting, and colocation services.
