Arctic Wolf doubles warranty to USD $3 million with new AI engine

Today

Arctic Wolf has expanded its Security Operations Warranty to a value of USD $3 million (AUD $4.6 million) for customers deploying Aurora Managed Endpoint Defence, alongside its Security Operations Bundles.

The company's enhancement of its warranty offering follows its acquisition of Cylance and continues its focus on outcome-based solutions in the cybersecurity sector. The warranty now represents the largest of its kind in the industry, covering incidents that affect organisations relying on Arctic Wolf's endpoint security technologies.

Currently, more than 3,000 organisations across over 60 countries use Arctic Wolf Endpoint Security to protect their digital assets. The expansion of the warranty serves to highlight the company's ongoing commitment and investment in providing support to organisations of varying sizes throughout their cybersecurity efforts.

Dan Schiappa, President, Technology and Services at Arctic Wolf, commented, "Doubling our industry-leading Security Operations Warranty to $3 million underscores our confidence in the power of Aurora Endpoint Security. Customers and partners are responding with real enthusiasm because they see the innovation and value Aurora Endpoint Security brings to the market. This expanded warranty reinforces our commitment to delivering trusted outcomes and world-class endpoint security to measurably reduce risk."

Alongside the warranty update, Arctic Wolf has launched a new AI-enhanced Behavioural Detection Engine within Aurora Endpoint Security. This engine is aimed at improving threat detection capabilities by delivering a more streamlined and modern approach for endpoint security. The rollout includes double the detection coverage and an increase in detection accuracy over the company's previous capabilities.

The updated engine incorporates a refreshed library of detection rules that have been vetted by Arctic Wolf Labs and introduces AI-assisted tuning workflows. The use of threshold-based alerting aims to reduce unnecessary notifications without compromising on visibility. Security teams can benefit from support for MITRE ATT&CK tagging and can manage exceptions across tenants, zones, and device policies. This flexibility is intended to help security teams prioritise genuine threats while reducing operational demands.

On the software development side, Arctic Wolf has signed the CISA Secure by Design Pledge. This move is aligned with the company's ongoing commitment to secure software development as part of its standard process. The pledge indicates Arctic Wolf's efforts to reduce software vulnerabilities, implement secure default configurations, and embed security checks at each stage of the product's life cycle.

This commitment, according to the company, reflects its mission to reduce cyber risk and to promote transparency and accountability within the cybersecurity industry.
