Couchbase appoints Fidelma Butler as Chief People Officer

Fidelma Butler has been appointed as the new Chief People Officer of Couchbase, the cloud database platform company. Butler, who previously served as the Vice President of the Talent and Organizational Development team at Zendesk, will be responsible for leading the people function at Couchbase, focusing on scaling SaaS teams and building the company culture.

Butler will be leading a global team at Couchbase that will include business partnering and operations, talent acquisition, employee experience and engagement, total rewards, and workplace. She will play a crucial role in strengthening Couchbase’s culture for its distributed teams made up of exceptional people.
